Fans, brace yourselves! The San Francisco 49ers are geared up to welcome back one of their two injured stars as they prepare to face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Deebo Samuel, the Niners receiver who has missed most of the past three games with a shoulder hairline fracture, appears ready to return after practicing in full throughout the week without any injury designation for Sunday’s game.
Yet, another star, left tackle Trent Williams could make a comeback, albeit a more uncertain one due to his right ankle injury. Williams has been listed as questionable for the Sunday game after returning to practice on a limited basis. Coach Kyle Shanahan remains cautious, stating, “I think he’s real questionable to be playing.”
The return of Samuel is just what the offense needs, having struggled in recent games, while Williams’ return would greatly boost their performance, especially in the run game. Their excitement is apparent as they attempt to end their current three-game losing skid.
With Javon Hargrave, Aaron Banks, and Drake Jackson dealing with injuries, the 49ers are focused on getting back their star players and gaining an edge over the Jaguars. Meanwhile, the Jaguars will have to face the game without receiver Zay Jones, who is set to miss his fourth consecutive game due to an ongoing right knee injury.
As anticipation builds, the return of these injured stars could be a game-changer for the 49ers come Sunday.
