In Week 6, Ingram stepped in as the starter when James Conner was placed on injured reserve, with head coach Jonathan Gannon expressing confidence in his abilities. However, during Sunday’s game, Ingram only played on special teams, while rookie Emari Demercado started and had 17 touches.
